Nate went to the doctor because his family and teachers were worried he was scattered, he had difficulty paying attention and staying organized.
he had difficulty finishing tasks that were not interesting to him but  sometimes, he could  over-focus and lose track of time

he had a hard time sitting still, he would often lose or misplace objects and was forgetful. sometimes. he would often get distracted. They found this problem had a name called ADHD but with the right supports Nate would succeed.

1. John Jr and Hopsi wanted a better understanding of the virtue charity.  The went to the internet to find out more information.
2.  Charity is a generosity and helpfulness especially toward the needy or suffering. also : aid given to those in need.   In the Bible, charity is that pure love which our Savior Jesus Christ has. He has commanded us to love one another as He loves us. The scriptures tell us that charity comes from a pure heart We have pure love when, from the heart, we show genuine concern and compassion for all our brothers and sisters.  John Jr and Hopsi decide to have pure love from there on out.
3.  John Jr and Hopsi thought of ways they could demonstrate charity.  They thought up some ideas that they could do which include: Thinking and speaking kindly of others 
Praying for the needs of others 
Encouraging others to reach out to people they normally wouldn't 
Loving family and friends 
Treating others with respect and kindness 
Doing good things for others 
Praying for enemies 
Speaking the truth in love 
4.  John Jr and Hopsi decided to raise money or school supplies to help children in need of supplies for school.  They selected a date and made up posters for the event to post around town.  They also put a notice In the local newspaper.  
6. It was the day of John Jr and Hopsi's charitable event.  They set up a table with a jar for cash donations.  They put out empty boxes for any supplies.  Many people came by to drop off donations.  The event brought in $3500 and 5 big boxes of an assortment of supplies.  The supplies included backpacks, notebooks, coloring and writing supplies and glue.  John Jr took everything they had received to the board of education for distribution to children in need.

CHARITY 

Our Kindergarten class is learning how to deal with big emotions. When they are feeling overwhelmed by big emotions they should tell an adult they need a break, how we can help them or what is making them feel that way. We want to help them understand their feeling so that they will be able to learn to self-regulate. We encourage deep breathing, breaks, walks, alone time and telling adults how they feel.

Once upon a time, in a town so neat,
Three little girls, oh so sweet.
Claire, Grace, and Lily too,
Met at Guidepost Montessori, where they grew.

In Nido, they learned to crawl,
With tiny steps, they'd never fall.
With gentle hands and songs so bright,
Their guides made everything feel right.

"Claire, Grace, Lily," guides would say,
"Curiosity will light your way."
With every hug and every cheer,
They felt so safe, with nothing to fear.

In Toddler's room, with tools so grand,
They learned together, hand in hand.
Claire built towers reaching high,
Grace sorted beads, counting by.

Lily poured water with careful grace,
A smile lighting up her face.
"Look at us," they'd say with glee,
"We're growing up, just wait and see!"

In Children's House, more fun was found,
With books and nature all around.
They read and wrote, and counted too,
Exploring worlds so fresh and new.

Miss Rebekah taught Claire math so grand,
With challenging work and a trinomial cube in hand.
Miss Cassandra lent her a sweater so snug,
A gesture of kindness, like a warm hug.

"Claire, Grace, Lily," guides would sing,
"You can do most anything.
With your friends right by your side,
The world is wide, your hearts are wide."

Around the sun, they'd walk with pride,
A birthday journey, side by side.
With each new year, a story spun,
Of growth and learning, joy and fun.

Now the day has come to part,
With memories dear, within their hearts.
Graduating to kindergarten they go,
With courage and love, their hearts aglow.

"Thank you, guides," they said with cheer,
"For all the love and care this year.
We'll take your lessons, near and far,
And always remember who we are."

Hand in hand, they walked away,
Ready to face a brand new day.

1.  John Jr and Nazut went to visit Granny.  Granny had made some tasty cookies and fruit smoothies for John Jr and Nazut's visit.  Granny also had a surprise for John Jr and Nazut.  
2.  Granny came back from her room with a space them box and a headset.  Granny handed the box to John Jr.  When he opened it, David Bowie's song Space Oddity' started playing.  Nazut got the headphones.
3.  Granny told John Jr that there is a trick to get the box to open.  She explained that only a kind heart could open it.  She explained that a kind heart shows empathy by understanding and caring about others, and inspired John Jrto do kind things like cheer up a sad friend or bring a toy to a crying sibling. She said a kind heart always have good intentions.
4.  John Jr and Nazut' visit was over and John Jr took his musical box home.  John Jr was a bit temperamental and he couldn't get his box to open.  He started practicing patience and his temper tantrums disappeared and he fi rally had the kindness in his heart for box to open and play Space Oddity.
5.  Then John Jr and Nazut were floating on space.  They became friends with a young star.  That star gives John Jr a tour of the universe.  John Jr especially enjoyed seeing Planet X.  
6. John Jr return back home and get ready to eat dinner.

 One day the library media center had an unwelcomed visitor. This visitor was not an ordinary human. This visitor was not even human at all. It was from Mars. It was Martian. And it was a fly. Not a little fly that we see buzzing around out doors at picnics trying to land on juicy watermelons. But a huge fly. Almost bigger than the hand of a Pre K student. This fly was from Mars and it loved to read books. So, one day when the door to the library media center was left open by a student, this Martian fly flew right in. He was in fly heaven. He went from book to book and read how to live on Earth. What to eat to not make his belly hurt. And how to avoid humans. He was having the time of his life. Until one day, he made a big mistake. The media specialist and her assistant Miss Bee and Miss Crystal  saw him in the nonfiction section. They didn't know that he was an alien. They assumed he was a mutated fly that was so big that he might bite one of their students. No matter how hard they tried they were unable to catch the fly. Soon, they gave up because they had a job to do and that was to make sure all students could come in and check out great books to read as well as help students with their Chromebooks. So Miss Bee decided to trap the fly in another room so no student could be harm by the fearsome creature.
