Our Kindergarten class is learning how to deal with big emotions. When they are feeling overwhelmed by big emotions they should tell an adult they need a break, how we can help them or what is making them feel that way. We want to help them understand their feeling so that they will be able to learn to self-regulate. We encourage deep breathing, breaks, walks, alone time and telling adults how they feel.

Haidee is an Australian diplomat who is from Tasmania. She has red hair. She is moving to Copenhagen for a diplomatic posting with her two little girls. When they arrive, they see Princess Mary alone in a beautiful Copenhagen park. She is sitting alone on a bench and looks sad. She tells Haidee that she misses her home in Tasmania and together they all find places in Copenhagen that remind them of home.

1. John Jr and Vasi were playing at John Jr's Granny house. They was playing with some of John Jr's Mom's toys from when she was young. Vasi loved the Polly Pockets. 2. John Jr came across an envelope. Granny said they could open it. A map was in there. John Jr and Vasi studied it for a bit. 3. Granny explained it was a map of the Southside neighborhood. John Jr and Vasi wasted to go there bad, because the map showed a treasure hidden there. Granny took them to the area so John Jr and Vasi could explore. 4. John Jr and Vasiwalkaround for a few hours. They was about to give up, until they noticed an apple tree. The map showed the treasure near that. John Jr and Vasi studied the map a little more to figure out how it was position around that tree. 5. John Jr finds the spot and start digging. They get about 2 ft deep and see this hard plastic container. They get it out. 6. John Jr opens it up and finds a news paper from 1983. The headline was President Reagan created a day to honor Martin Luther King. They find some change that had 1983 imprinted on them. The was a tape of Michael Jackson's Thriller. 5. There was also a Care Bear with a heart on it. There was also some He-Man figurines. They find a box of Nerds candy. They wondered if the Nerds were safe to eat. 6. John Jr and Vasi takes the time capsule back to John Jr's Granny house. Everyone eats some supper. John Jr and Vasi go to their bedroom to play with the time capsule.

Once upon a time, in the heart of the Jungle Jamboree, there lived a peculiar elephant named Fluffy. Fluffy wasn't your ordinary, run-of-the-mill pachyderm; he had a secret superpower that set him apart from the rest. Fluffy was ticklish, and not just a little bit - he was the tickliest elephant in the entire jungle! One moonlit night, as the stars giggled in the sky, Fluffy couldn't fall asleep. He decided to embark on a whimsical adventure to discover the source of the mysterious nighttime tickles that had been keeping him awake. As Fluffy tiptoed through the jungle, he encountered a mischievous monkey named Chuckles swinging from vine to vine. Chuckles, with a twinkle in his eye, couldn't resist the temptation to tickle Fluffy's trunk. Giggles erupted from Fluffy, echoing through the jungle like a symphony of laughter.

A little boy and a girl named Ahaan and Ayisha are playing outside their house. Their mom calls them for eating lunch. They get into the house and wash their hands, face and foot before getting into the table. They both sat on the table and started eating their food. Ahaan said "Bismillah" (In the Name of God ) before eating his first bite, but ayisha forget to say bismillah. Ahaan reminds ayisha that "we have to remember allah before starting anything ". And then mom said its okay ! if you forget to say bismillah you can say " Bismillahi awwalahu va aakhirahu " (I begin with the Name of God at the beginning and at the end) then you can continue eating. So Ayisha tells "Bismillahi awwalahu va aakhirahu " and continues eating. After finishing their lunch both said "Alhamdhullilah" ( Every praise is to God ) and went for playing.

A young boy wants to learn how to ride a bicycle but every time he tries he falls, he gets frustrated about not being able to ride it the first time and almost gives up, but with the encouragement from his parents, he learns that he can remain persistent and eventually learns how to ride a bike and that it takes practice to learn how to.

Adventure Story in Lung Yeuk Tau Page 1 On a sunny morning, brothers Ming and Wah decided to visit Lung Yeuk Tau. They heard there were many mysterious legends and histories there. Page 2 The two brothers arrived at the Old Wall and saw the ancient wall and narrow gate. Ming told Wah that this place once defended against pirate invasions. Page 3 As they walked into the village, they saw villagers preparing for the Spring and Autumn Festival. Wah excitedly said, “I want to see these traditional rituals!” Page 4 Ming took Wah to the Tin Hau Temple, where a statue of Tin Hau was enshrined. They saw villagers ringing bells to pray for safety, feeling the power of faith. Page 5 Next, they arrived at the ancient well. Wah curiously asked, “How old is this well?” Ming replied, “It’s an important water source for villagers, over a hundred years old!” Page 6 They visited the Song Ling Tang Temple and admired the beautiful wood carvings and statues. Ming told Wah it was built to honor their ancestors. Page 7 The brothers ran through the fields of the village, enjoying the beauty of nature. Wah said, “The air here is so fresh; I love it!” Page 8 Finally, they sat on a hillside, watching the sunset. Ming and Wah promised to return to Lung Yeuk Tau in the future to explore more secrets!

They make Christmas gingerbread and decorate them together. They hide gifts under the Christmas tree. When the first star appears in the sky, they start Christmas Eve. They share the wafer. On Christmas Eve they sing carols. They are waiting for Santa Claus. Santa Claus gives a gift to Sebastian.
